Planning a Project? Think logically…

For many types of programs or projects, logic models are a useful planning framework to outline how your goals will be accomplished – your plan for achieving impact!  Linking short and long-term outcomes with project resources, activities and indicators, logic models may also reference relevant assumptions, issues, risks or barriers in the plan. And by using logic frames to identify project elements and outcomes and how they will be measured, program planning can more effectively incorporate evaluation as a management and learning tool – an important part of being an effective organization.  The Kellogg Foundation has some excellent resources on logic model development and evaluation planning which can be downloaded at no charge here: http://www.wkkf.org/resource-directory/resource/2006/02/wk-kellogg-foundation-logic-model-development-guide
